Blogher '06 - Potpourri

In no particular order and the first of several (perhaps):

1.  I had a good time.  I didn't have a great time, a suuuuper time, a waited-all-my-life time, but that has more to do with me than the conference.  I went knowing no one.  That's tough.  And no one knew me.  Also tough.  So I had to do the gird-your-loins thing and dive in to the crowd--or stand at the periphery and hope you don't look pathetic.  I dove, and sometimes I did a perfect 3 point.  And sometimes I bellyflopped.

2.  I have got to get over this age thing.  No one seems to care about it but me.  And I make people feel bad when I make cracks.

3.  I met some cool women and made some friends. 

4.  Dooce deserves all she has gotten.  I will write more about this later, but had to get it on record now.
